My name is Beatrice Harris, and I am a Registered Social Worker and a proud Indigenous woman from the Piikani Nation, part of the Blackfoot Confederacy. With over a decade of experience in psychiatry, mainly focusing on co-occurring disorders, I have dedicated my career to working in northern British Columbia and Alberta. Currently, I serve as a social work professor, teaching courses on interpersonal communication, Indigenous empowerment, and family studies.

In my practice, I prioritize a non-judgmental and compassionate approach, welcoming individuals of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship styles. I offer specialized support for those engaged in ethical non-monogamy, which includes but is not limited to: - Polyamory: Maintaining multiple loving relationships with the informed consent of all involved. - Open Relationships: A primary partnership that permits other sexual or romantic connections. - Swinging: Participating in consensual sexual activities with others, often in a social setting. - Relationship Anarchy: Rejecting traditional relationship hierarchies to define relationships on individual terms.

My primary goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their identities, set boundaries, enhance communication, and build ethical, fulfilling relationships, all while fostering self-empowerment.
